Art installation to represent open projects with World Art Group, Booth Framing holds active catalog licensing and is already fulfilling orders. Here's what to do.

If you, like us, are a customer with World Art Group, you’ve been notified that they aren’t accepting new orders.  Your projects that might be in mid-spec and in process are suddenly in limbo.

For interior designers, art consultants, and hospitality buyers who’ve relied on WAG for years — sometimes decades — this isn’t just inconvenient. It’s a project management crisis.

And we are offering to assist you.

What Booth Framing Can Do

We’ve worked with World Art Group since it was Old World Prints. Our first project was the framing program for The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. Over nearly 25 years, WAG became one of our most trusted art partners — not just because of their range, but because of their quality standard and their willingness to truly customize.

WAG wasn’t just a vendor.  Their embellishment quality, their ability to custom-match color and cropping to an end user’s exact specification, their range across every market segment — senior living, healthcare, hospitality, corporate—set a standard.

We maintain active licensing to the WAG catalog, and we’re already working with customers who are sending us their existing project specifications.

Here’s what that process looks like:

  1. You send us what you have — image selections, sizes, room applications, and any other existing documentation from your WAG order or your quote request.
  2. We locate the images in our catalog access and discuss substrate options, pricing, and lead time with you.
  3. We fulfill the order — printing on our standard substrates (Moab Lasal Production Matte paper and Epson Exhibition Canvas) or other substrates you may choose, packing and shipping.
  4. We flag anything that needs a conversation. Application matters to us. Art going over 200 hotel room beds gets handled differently than a statement piece above a lobby fireplace.
  5. You design your next project with us. Or we search images for you through our secure online catalog of over half a million images including the WAG catalog. You can build any number of projects on the site using our collections application. We have immediate access to your collection for pricing and printing options.

Our standard turnaround is 7 working days for orders of 1–25 pieces, and a minimum of 10 + working days for orders of 100 or more depending on your quantity and substrate.

A Note on Embellishment

One of the things WAG did — and that we’ve heard more than once this month — was embellishment. The ability to add texture, dimension, and handcrafted finishing to a print elevated their work from reproduction to art object.

We do embellishments. If that’s part of what you specified, it’s worth a conversation. Not every piece will translate exactly, but we can have a look and offer options that retain your vision.
